Today i was really hit by how much God has given us love.

As i was walking around cardiff with my boy it all became even clearer! We love because God first loved us. The love that we have for each other was actually given by God. Therefore if we openly love one another we are sharing God's love with them.

Will work really hard to achieve the grades i need for Bristol University (and my own pride really :p)

Well, what can i say, Christmas this year was truly beautiful.

I got to see my boy on Christmas day, Church was brill and my family all joined together! Amazing! Thought i'd share some memories...

The world of Adult Hood.

Hey all,

Since i last posted something incredible has happened.... i have become 18, an adult, a woman, someone who can vote! I had the most incredible birthday party with all the works, the cake, the family, the friends, the boy, the bunting. I LOVED it! As i was walking around my birthday party though i found myself thinking, 'if i had another 18th, what would i do differently..." I can honestly say i don't know. I loved my party so so so much, but there is something so much more special than the things that made it amazing... It was the people. Everyone who was at my party were special to me. Their love has brought me through some really difficult times in my life, and even though i am busy thinking about house Music at the moment (which is on Saturday at Hogwarts...) i have been plagued with thoughts and memories of the past 18 years and the people who have had a massive impact on my life. I am currently trying to write my personal statement and i am really struggling to know what to write that will 'sell' me... To me, I have only ever experienced 'me' being enough. I never had to 'sell' myself to my parents, i never have to 'sell' myself to the boy, I never have to 'sell' myself to God. All i do is give myself to all these people and they recieve whatever the package looks like.. sad or happy or stressed. It seems like a funny concept. All of these people who i give myself to, have supported me and helped me grow in these past 18 years and will continue to, yet i have to sell myself for fellow brothers and sisters in christ to want me. I'm still praying into that one! My prayer for my adult life is that i can be one of those people who supports and cherishes others no matter what they bring to the table.

Stress, Stress and Peace.

Hi all.

Sorry it's been so long but i've never been busier! At the moment i am organising House music for my boarding house at Hogwarts. House music consists of a house song (a bit like Glee!) a band, a choir and a soloist this year. This is so stressful as i have to organise 70 girls, in 4 weeks to perform to 400 people. I also have loads of work to do from school and i'm organising my 18th birthday party. This is all rather stressful. But. God has shown me real peace through my lovely Boy. My boy was a gift to me from God, no doubt and i'm blessed to be able to see him quite frequently so that he can just calm me down and sit with me watching only fools and horses. God has also been speaking to me through my stress. For example, through the music we are making in house music or the meetings i am having with various members of staff to organise the event.

On a different note, this summer was the best summer EVER! Passed my driving test. Got 3A's and a U in my As' (even whilst being on morphine and 2 days after my operation for one of the exams!) and i also fell more and more in love with my boy and my family and Grew deeper into my relationship with God. A truly blessed summer!

I will try and keep you updated this month!

Hi all, Thought you might like to know that i passed my driving test! I got 1 minor (you can have 15!) so it was amazing! I then drove two and a half hours away to go on holiday with my friends! :D SOOOOOOO happy! Major relief. :)

I've just come back from one of the best weeks of my life so far, camping with my two best friends and the boy. It was a perfect 5 days of laughter, God, sun, farts and food. On the Thursday i started to get a little bit worried about my driving test (not saying when it is!) and after failing two already i started to question wether i was ever going to pass or not. I was feeling sick right up until my boy sat me down and talked me through everything in his Funny, calm way that no one else can pull off apart from him. I instantly chilled out and now i'm ready for it. It doesn't matter if i pass of fail really. I have such a beautiful family, a wonderful Boy and Gorgeous friends. (I still wanna pass though! ;) )

It really isn't a long post today but i don't really have much more to say about how amazing my friends and family are! I will leave you with my Favourite, blessed pictures from this week.

Heya! I'm currently in Hong Kong on the last leg of my Holiday. My title was referring to the cliche phrase that i'm supposed to be experiencing away from home. Apparently i'm supposed to be falling more in love with my school, More in love with waking up at 6.45 to go to Hogwarts, More in love with failing my driving tests, More in love with Having to tidy my room.... I disagree with that phrase! I miss my Boy So much that i get grumpy with him, I'll never enjoy waking up at 6.45, i detest Driving tests, and tidying my room is my idea of self pity hour. The biggest reason that i hate that phrase is because absence from God does not make his heart feel stronger towards us. He loves us so much that he couldn't love us any more. His heart couldn't be stronger for us. All it does is weep whilst we're away.

It doesn't matter where you are, you can't physically run away from God. Just don't let your Heart run.

Hi everyone! I'm in Bangkok at the moment!! It's so so hot. 38 degrees to be precise! Today was our first day of the holiday and we went on a boat ride. Now i'm sure your all thinking i bet it was a lovely boat ride on clear blue water ect.... NOT! Bangkok is highly polluted, the river is brown and it has the biggest scale of rich to poor that i have ever seen in such a small perimeter! The boat driver took us off the river down the canal where there are houses all along it, Some falling in the water, made out of decaying wood, housing 13 people and some mansions built on stone. As we drove through the canal almost everyone smiled and waved! We then stopped to re-fuel at a water market (a market in the water.) It was so interesting and incredible to see women cooking in massive saucepans in a boat and serving huge meals for 50p. Handicapped beggars pleading for just a pound and then being given 50! This world is so different to the western world I live in. Beggars are walked past, We don't smile and say hi, everything is extremely expensive!

I took 300 pictures in 2 hours today. So i will leave you with just a few of them from a inspirational (and boiling and smelly) boat trip..

The memory Box

Today i was tidying my room and under my bed i found my memory box, Inside this tatty shoe box are roses from my first boyfriend, My first love letter, Cards for getting good grades, my mobile from when i was a baby, Pictures etc. I looked through all these things and my heart sank for a moment. Everything was a memory. It made me sad that they weren't a present. Then when i looked closer i saw experiences i wish i could forget and realised that i have many more memories to be made at this point in my life. I am coming into my last year at school. (yippee!) and then i'm off to Uni, New friends, new house, new life. All rather scary. I don't really know how i'm going to cope with it all. All i know is that i have a support system that will not fail. They will be there no matter what, they will be the people i create memories with, memories that don't fit in a tatty shoe box, memories that fill my heart.

Passion can be see as a positive passion or a negative passion. Today i went to look at a university open morning. I am looking to study Music. - my passion.

Birthdays!!

Tomorrow is a very special day. Not only is it my last exam, but it is a good friend of mine's Birthday.

Let me tell you about my friend, (i will name him John for the purpose of the blog)

John is a lovely bilingual, south american/English, short, bald friend of mine who was an orphan in south america. John was adopted with his sister to a married english couple when he was 6. John had quite a troubled childhood and 20's but throughout his life he has acknowledged that there is a God, but maybe not always following him. Anyway, he was living in the allotments near my house for quite a while and attended our local YMCA weekly. The Boy's mum plays the piano for the YMCA and she felt it was on her Heart from God to give a room in her house for John to live in. So John moved in with my boy.

When the Boy told me about John i was immediately hesitant about a homeless man living with my boy and has visions of him stealing things. This reaction is one that i am ashamed of. When i finally met John i realised that this man had a beautiful heart, (not only for God but for humans and animals and all creation.) He was a talented man, a hard worker, a family man and a loving man. John will be a Man i respect and will remember for the rest of my life.

This experience has taught me so much about Judging people. I pray that God will take my need to judge away from me and from the rest of the world so that people like John can treasure their Birthdays every year, knowing the Father's love through us.

Worship...

I've never made a whole blog set completely aside to be about God but i feel that with it being my whole life i should share a bit.

My relationship with God has always been there, sometimes we are happy with each other, other times not so much! But recently i have had a really tough time humanly. I then called out to God and my life has been miraculous ever since. My relationship with God is aided by worship in Music. I love music, it's the one language i get and its a gift that i wholeheartedly want to use for the glory of God. When i was 16 i decided to pick up a guitar and to teach myself to play it. (after a few chords being taught to me by my ex.) I found a love for the instrument and the freedom it gave me in connecting with my heavenly father.

I have always felt called into worship leading and i pray that God is equipping me more daily for the plans he has for me. My boyfriend is just one of the Gifts God has sent me, one that challanges my faith and feeds it, whilst striving to make sure i have a solid relationship with my father by myself, in my private time with him.

Playing my guitar is a secret place i enter into with the father and i would really encourage you to find your secret place, get it protected and to LOVE it!

The Devil hates it when i pick up a guitar because no one can deny the special connection i share with my father when i am worshipping, It's so strong that the devil can't stay there and listen. God has protected our secret place, i pray you have one too.

Rejection

Rejection is something that seems to be a big part of my life.

Whether it's failing my diving test umpteen times, or not getting in any commitee, or being dumped. All of these rejections seem to plaugue me.

Yesterday i went on a MASSIVE walk/hike with my boy. (he says walk i say mega hike!) and i was talking to him about all my rejection and how people deal with it. I really struggle with it (from being bullied to the guy i thought i was going to marry breaking up with me via text.) The boy was saying that when he get's knocked down through rejection he may be upset for an afternoon but he talks about them and then it's gone. I build it all up and i can't handle it anymore.

So i've decided that from now on i'm sharing my rejections.

I was thinking about it last night before i went to sleep and all my horrid rejections still hurt but so much good has come out of them. My ex dumping me was the worst rejection and pain BUT Have you seen who God has waiting for me just around the corner?!? My boy is perfect for me and loves God.

I'm still waiting to find out why i was rejected by the school Christian Union but God has a plan for me and I'm pretty sure it's no longer at Hogwarts.

A hospital stay...

Hi! I'm back.

On thursday night my mum took me into hospital with major pains on my right side of the stomach. The RUH were really good with my problems (albeit a little bit slow) and i was in theatre on Friday night at 10pm. In theatre they made three holes in my tummy (Belly button, left stomach and under my tummy) and then saw that i had a cyst on my ovary that had ruptured. The boy was in hospital with me for most of the time and so was my mum. It really upset me how many doctors asked me if i could be pregnant. Isn't it sad how they thought most 17 year old teenage girls who go in with stomach pains are actually pregnant. I took some nice gory pics to remember the occassion but don't worry i won't share them with you. I am now at home in complete agony drugged up to the max waiting for the cyst to go down and the holes in my tummy to heal. It was really lovely on Friday. Ollie and Lilly came and stayed with me for most of the day waiting for my operation. The doctor even asked if my and Lilly were twins!! She totally jumped into my comfy hospital bed with me to keep me company!

I have an exam tomorrow that i'm really worried about missing because of all the pain relief i'm on and the pain i'm in. I missed C2 maths on Friday because i was being prepped for emergency surgery so i don't know what is happening with either exam. Ah well. I've learnt something....

Exams....

Hiya. I'm in the midst of exams at the moment and i'm sure my friend would agree with me that we are glad C1 is finished (First module of maths!) Only got two more module's left! :-)

I've really found getting into my sowing so helpful with calming me down recently. It helps me focus on something other than work. After my exam on Friday i will Upload some pictures on here of my new pillow case!

I've made a few lists of promise that i have to keep throughout the next term and i would love it if you could help me keep those.

1) Keep God at the Centre

Trip to see some amazing people!

Heya,

Today me and the boy went to see our best friends at university. We had such a brilliant day, Me shopping with an awesome lady and the boy chatting with such a beautiful man. Then we watched some vulgar (funny) film and then went out for a lovely meal, just the four of us. Had to drive back in some manic rain though! Was a nightmare but the boy drove slow! :)

My scarf is coming on well. (yes i'm knitting!) But need to change the wool now. Run out of my wool. That's tomorrow's task as well as trying to get my work done!!

On Tuesday one of my bestfriends and my lovely boyfriend and another one of my friends finally returned home from their Gap year travels to New Zealand.
No one understands how good it is to have him home! Although it did get me thinking about what i am going to do for my Gap Year and if i have one and what course i am gunna do at uni... bla bla bla! I Don't know!! Found out i am doing Art next year though which is exciting stuff. I am finally growing up.

Royal Wedding!

Yay, The day finally arrived!

I had to go to Hogwarts today though (one of 4 schools that didn't get the day off!) It was ok because i came home to watch the wedding with my mum. Shame my school didn't really enter into the spirit of it really.

Wishing them the best luck in their future. I'm feeling rather patriotic today. Loved watching the wedding with my parents. Was a rather special day. Shame the boy wasn't around.

Choices

Our lives are made up of choices. Each one, no matter how big or small, can change our lives. School is one big playground for choices and i'm getting fed up with having to decide on the rest of my life... Uni, Jobs, Courses, Argh! But that all in the lesson right?

I have made three choices today and i want to see how they turn out...

1) As it says in the Bible "age shouldn't restrict you from doing God' work" so i'm on it!

Homeless people in Bath... Watch out, i'm coming to give you some jesus loving!

2) I'm going to finish knitting my scarf

3) If i want to study art and design at uni, thats what i'm going to do.

Anyway hope you've all had a good day. The boy is home in 5 days now after 7 weeks in New Zealand. I can't wait to see him finally!

Just been on a 10 day rowing training camp. It was brilliant but i did loose my voice by the end of the week. (I am a cox.) It was exaughsting though! Early mornings and late nights. Not good for little me! Back to Hogwarts (school) tomorrow. Got to write an essay before i get there. Alevels are a nightmare! Anyway hope you all have a good day.
